DORVAL MINERAL EXPLORATION INC. COMPLETED THE ACQUISITION OF 100% INTEREST IN THE RIDGE CREEK PROPERTY

Ridge Creek Project

The Ridge Creek Project is located  in the Matagami area of Quebec and has 3 historic drill hole hits of gold in veins in 2 separate areas of the claims.

The Joburke-Section of the project is showing 0.46m of 1.4g/t gold in drill core along a likely regional fault as identified by aeromag. The fault is mapped to just west of the claims but the trail of EM anomalies and high magnetic vertical gradient indicates the fault continues through the claims and proximal to the Joburke drill hole showing. The 1959 drill program that included the Joburke-Section showing included another hole with 0.7g/t Au over 7m. All gold mineralization appears to be Qz vein related.

The Cominco-Section of the project is showing 3g/t Au over 1.0m in 1984 and 1.89g/t Au in a 1996 drill hole. Grade was found in Qz-Ankerite veining with high percentage disseminated pyrite within the veining. These drill holes may be located along a splay to the main fault as witnessed by the strong magnetics and the minor EM anomalies identified by the Quebec government.

The claims are predominantly a sedimentary assemblage with tongues of mafic intrusives and volcanics that strike along the fault and are found at or near both showings. Gold is shear hosted in Cominco-Section and proximal to an identified mafic volcanics to sediments contact. This may be the same in the  Joburke-Section. The 2 showings may be related at depth. The 3rd strong magnetic signature that strikes between the showings may be a splay related to the main fault, or possibly an iron formation.
