Lac Chavigny Acquisition

Canadian Mineral Resources Inc. is pleased to announce the acquisition of the Lac Chavigny Gold property through its partner company Dorval Mineral Exploration Inc.

The Lac Chavingy Gold Project is comprised of fourteen map designated claims, covering an area of 757 hectares north of Val D’Or Quebec, one of the most prolific gold fields in the world. The property is 18km southeast of the town of Macamic and has good access via paved roads.

Preliminary drilling at Lac Chavingy 1988 by Orbite Exploration confirmed the presence of mineral enrichment and gold mineralization. Hole PA-88-04, which was drilled to a depth of 186m at a geological fault/contact between Archean and Neo-Archean domains, encountered 0.6m of 1.2g/t Au and 0.3m 1.06g/t Au. The primary target at Lac Chavingy is a magnetic high, which runs northwest across the project for a distance of over 5km.

Work on the property will start in November.
