Canadian Mineral Resources is pleased to announce that it has entered into an option agreement through Dorval Exploration for the Lac Chavigny Gold Project, located in Quebec. Under the terms of the agreement, Dorval Exploration will receive cash and shares as well as over half a million in exploration expenditures within twenty-eight months. In addition, the agreement includes a one percent royalty interest. The buyer is in the process of preparing a technical report and meeting other regulatory requirements to complete a listing on the Canadian Securities Exchange.

The Lac Chavingy Gold Project is comprised of fourteen map designated claims, covering an area of 757 hectares north of Val D'Or Quebec, one of the most prolific gold fields in the world. The property is 18km southeast of the town of Macamic and has good access via paved roads.

Canadian Mineral Resources Inc. holds a controlling interest in Dorval Mineral Exploration Inc.
